Lumi i shales is one of the most beautiful spots in Albania and was easily one of the highlights of my road trip. It is not the easiest place to get to, and as we don't speak Albanian the whole journey was a bit confusing, we honestly has no idea if we were going where we wanted to, but luckily it all worked out!

The Shala river is a combination of turquoise blue water, rocky cliffs and lush nature. It is also known as the "Thailand of Albania", because of its gorgeous nature. Around 11:00 AM or 11:30 AM, you arrive at Shala Beach. Where you can go for a swim, sunbathe and have a lovely lunch at one of the restaurants.

I didn't find a way from Fierze to Lumi I Shales without going back to Koman first, which would have been OK if I had a bit more time but I decided to leave it.
