After the sea of pink and red crafts we made for Valentine's Day comes a wave of green and rainbow-coloured crafts in honour of Saint Patrick's Day. And ever since I created a set of shamrock and four-leaf clover templates, we've been experimenting with all sorts of clover-themed crafts!. This particular one might be our favourite. In fact, the kids loved creating DIY suncatchers so much.

Cut 5 strips of paper measuring 1″ x 11″. Fold four of the strips in half. Bend the two ends of paper in to form a heart and staple in place. Repeat with three of the other strips of paper. These will form four hearts or the petals of our clovers.

How to make a monoprint four leaf clover. Start by squirting green paint onto the tin foil. Spread it with a paint sponge or roller. Use a Q-tip or a Q-tip bundle to create random shapes on paint. Press the four leaf clover template onto the tin foil, making a monoprint of your drawing. Peel the four leaf clover template off and let it dry.

Place a generous amount of hot glue in the center on the backside of one leaf. Insert the end of your floral wire into the hot glue before it cools. You could also use this craft as a Saint Patrick's Day craft, just make it into a 3 leafed clover and you are good to go. These would look amazing on a spring bulletin board too.
